(4/13/10) – The Historic Adams House will host a Tea and Tour event on Saturday, April 24, and Sunday, April 25, at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Join us as we welcome spring with a tea and tour of the Historic Adams House located at 22 Van Buren Avenue, Deadwood. ![]() The event is open to the public, $8 for members and $12 for non-members. Reservations are required; please call Black Hills Central Reservations at (800) 344-8826 or 578-7702. Parking is available in front of the Historic Adams House or in the Sherman Street parking lot next to First Interstate Bank. Enjoy an elegant and traditional High Tea in the beautiful setting of the Historic Adams House. The tea features finger sandwiches, scones with jam, fruit tarts and assorted teas and includes a docent-led tour. Entertainment will be provided by local musicians Shirlene Joseph and Michael Ellison. Tea and Tour is sponsored by the Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission, Adams-Mastrovich Family Foundation and the Black Hills Pioneer. The Adams Museum, Historic Adams House and Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center identify, preserve, collect, interpret and promote the history and culture of Deadwood and the surrounding Black Hills for the benefit of members of the Northern Black Hills community, visitors to the area and researchers. -30- Media Contact: Rose Speirs |
